Christopher Huber is a Seattle-area based wedding, portrait and fine art photographer. Chris utilizes his photojournalistic background to capture the genuine moments many photographers only attempt to capture with posing and overwhelming lighting and gear. Chris brings a casual but friendly and experienced approach to shooting weddings, events and portraits.
Christopher Huber Photography originates in Chris’s everyday experiences as a curious student, traveler, and nature lover. Most of his work came to be simply because he carried his camera with him everywhere — Alaska, Peru, Costa Rica, Panama, Washington and beyond.
He owes his good camera-toting habits to a few photojournalists and editors he worked for before his photography career even began. It’s actually more of a lifestyle than a job, though. They hounded him to carry his camera — turned on, with lens cap off — to school, work, in the car and everywhere in between. His grandfather — a retired photographer and editor — got him interested in the craft in high school.
Photography is an amazing medium through which we can tell people’s stories, evoke emotion and compassion or incite people to action. Photography also provides a way to show people the natural beauty that surrounds us on this magnificent earth. It seeks to bring out the little truths of everyday life, so that we may understand a little more about the world in which we live.
Christopher Huber Photography exists to live out that philosophy while developing positive relationships with the people around us.
